Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run

The Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run was held. Our runners were ready and completed the 7.5 miles of running on Pacific Coast Highway. While running and carrying the torch, the Probation runners gave a strong showing of endurance. Alice Konieczny deserves double congratulations. At the last minute, she filled in for the group from Point Mugu. Having run 4 miles with that group, she continued and joined the Probation group as the Torch was passed. We thank Chief Mark Varela for his continued support of the Torch Run and his presence in cheering our group as we received the torch.
