Tip-A-Cop

In support of the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, Ventura County Probation Agency (VCPA) employees act as celebrity waiters/waitresses at selected local restaurants. All gratuities earned during their shifts are donated to the Ventura County Special Olympics.

VCPA probation and corrections officers participated in the annual Pride Bowl, a football game that pits personnel of Ventura County law enforcement agencies against other law enforcement agencies from throughout Southern California. Proceeds from ticket sales to this event are donated to various local charities.

VCPA employees staff an agency booth at various community events throughout the year. Visitors to the VCPA booth receive information about the many functions of VCPA, as well as the duties its employees perform.
